"SOFREH"

We're excited to present 'Sofreh' at Es Clot Den Font. A program of events showcasing some pillars of Persian culture including authentic Persian cuisine, our unique hospitality and traditional poetry, music & singing.

The gathering takes place at Es Clot den Font in the village of Lloret de Vistalegre. We have private and shared rooms available for the weekend and look forward to inviting you to see the food being prepared and cooked, learn songs and feel unique rhythms from Iran.

On the menu

Saturday 'Sofreh'

 

- Lavash Flatbread

- Mast o Khiar (yoghurt with cucumber, ground walnuts, sultanas and mint)

- Khoresh Gheymeh Bademjan (Slow cooked lamb and aubergine braise)

- Chelo va Tahdig (Steamed saffron butter rice with all important crunchy 'bottom of the pot' rice)

- Baghlava (Orange & Almond pastry)

 

The next day, I will prepare a 'Banquet Sofreh' of 

 

- Lavash Flatbread
- Mast o Khiar (yoghurt with cucumber, ground walnuts, sultanas and mint)
- Mirza Ghasemi (smoked aubergine, garlic and tomato)
- Kotlet (Beef and potato patties)
- Sabzi Kuku (Herb Frittata with barberries)
- Chelo va Tahdig (Steamed saffron butter rice with all important crunchy 'bottom of the pot' rice)
- Baghlava (Orange & Almond pastry)
